Charles Scoon Verlin Nichols, 71, of Franklin, N.C., passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021. He was born Nov. 25, 1949, in Macon County to the late Charles Martin Nichols and Bitty Jo McCoy Nichols. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Moses Nichols Relatives and friends are advised of the death of Melvin Geraldo Abramson Sr., also known as Mellie, who passed away May 18, 2021, at the age of 76 on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands William Peeler Wilson, son of Wallace Newton Wilson, was born 23 June 1900 in McMinn County Tennessee. He married Artie Emma Nora Maria Cain 05 Oct 1919 in McMinn County. She was born 27 Feb 1899. William died 28 Mar 1966, Nora died 14 Mar 1982, both are buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens, Tennessee
